Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the MyDesiCompanion website and services (the "Service"). The Service is operated by My Desi Travel Companion ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

My Desi Travel Companion matches travelers — typically parents and elders flying internationally — with verified travel companions who provide in-airport and in-flight assistance such as check-in help, gate transfers, layover companionship, and arrival hand-off. Companions do not provide medical care and do not carry baggage.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Submit false, misleading, or impersonating information.
• Send spam, scrape, or attempt to probe, scan, or breach our systems.
• Upload malware or attempt to interfere with the Service or other users.
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any person.

You must provide accurate information when submitting a request and keep it current. You are responsible for activity carried out under your contact details.

The Service, including its software, content, branding, and design, is owned by My Desi Travel Companion and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms in addition to our Refund Policy.

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold My Desi Travel Companion harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Service, or content you submit.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which My Desi Travel Companion is established. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
